Processing of ePassport applications takes six (6) weeks to twelve (12) weeks. Applicants are reminded that Philippine passports may be renewed as early as one (1) year before the expiry date.
To schedule an appointment, you may visit the Passport Global Online Appointment System (click here) or by drop box located at the Metro Remittance Shop 2042-A 2nd Floor, United Centre Admiralty.
The requirements for drop box appointment are passport application form (click here) and photocopies of HK ID and latest visa.
Senior citizens (60 years old and over), people with disabilities (PWDs), minors aged 7 years old and below, and pregnant women can avail of the Courtesy Lane Facility without need of an appointment.
Please be informed that appointment booking is free of charge. Applicants are reminded not to transact with third-party establishments who will offer services in exchange for money.

- Parents’ PSA-issued Marriage Certificate or Report of Marriage and photocopy. If not married, a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) executed by the mother authenticted by the Department of Foreign Affairs will be required if she is not accompanying the child.

- Personal appearance of minor, accompanied by either parent.
- Additional requirements for lost passport:
- Two (2) copies of Affidavit of Loss.
- Original and photocopy of Police Report, HK Identification Card and School ID.
- Data/biometrics/photo capture will be done after 15 clearing days.
In case applicant is not accompanied by parent/s during the application proces
- Applicant must submit Special Power of Attorney executed by the parent/s designating the minor's companion to assist in the application process. The Special Power of Attorney must be authenticated by DFA
- Passport or VAlid Government issued ID authorized adult companion
- Special Power of Attorney or Affidavit of Support and Consent must have a copy of parent/s valid ID and/or passport attached
In case applicant is an illegitimate child in custody of the Mother
- Personal Appearance of minor applicant and mother or authorized adult companion
- PSA Birth Certificate
- Passport of Valid Government issued ID of mother or authorized Adult Companion
- If applicant is not accompanied by mother during the applicantion process, applicant must submit a Special Power of Attorney executed by the mother designating the minor's companion to assist in the application process. The Special Power of Attorney must be authenticated by DFA
TRAVEL DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Photocopy of expired/mutilated/lost passport
- Hong Kong Identity Card and photocopy
- Four (4) copies passport size photo with white background
- Copy of airline ticket (if applicable)
- Personal appearance of applicant
- Additional requirements:
- In case of Expired/Mutilated Passport:
- Photocopy of valid employment contract
- Photocopy of latest Hong Kong visa
- Two (2) copies of Affidavit of Mutilation
- In case of Lost Passport
- If copy of lost passport is not available, PSA-issued Birth Certificate and photocopy,
- PSA-issued Marriage Certificate and photocopy, if lost passport is under married name.
- Two (2) copies of Affidavit of Loss.
- Police Report and photocopy.
- Any of the following IDs: COMELEC, SSS, PhiltHealth, Pag-IBIG, OWWA Membership ID, LTO, Driver’s License, Professional Regulatory Commission ID, Unified Multipurpose ID, Postal ID, NBI Clearance, etc.
- In case of Expired/Mutilated Passport:
- Travel Document will be issued on the next working day.
Note: The Consulate reserves the right to require additional documents deemed necessary.
PHOTO CAPTURING REQUIREMENTS
- Wear decent attire, with collar and sleeves.
- Use of contact lenses for medical reasons is accepted, provided that the contact lenses do not change the applicant’s true eye color.
- Wearing of veil is accepted for religious or medical reasons.
- Earrings, nose ring, necklaces and hair accessories, false eyelashes and cat's eyeliner should be removed prior to photo capturing.
- Frizzy/Afro hairstyles should be neatly arranged to show full frontal facial image.
- For distinguishing mark on face like mole, which was surgically removed, please provide medical certificate.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
- Check all data in the confirmation module before signing. Passports found to have printing errors may be replaced subject to another payment and 6 to 12 weeks processing period.
- Declare lost, valid or expired passport to avoid delay in the issuance of a new one.
- New passport will be mailed directly to the applicant's address via HK Post's mail service. Make sure that the address in the tracking slip is complete. The Consulate should be informed immediately if there is a change in the applicant's address through Whats app number 52415464 (message only).
