PROCEDURE AND REQUIREMENTS

  1. Personal Appearance
  2. Submit ALL issued Philippine passports (old and new) with 1 photocopy each (important pages only - bio data page, last page, amendment page, if any)
  3. Affidavit of Renunciation - 4 original copies (Form may be obtained from the Consulate or may be downloaded from website)
  4. Present the original of the following with 4 photocopies:
    1. PSA (NSO) authenticated Birth Certificate
    2. Hong Kong ID
    3. Letter from Hong Kong Immigration (for Chinese naturalization); or Personal letter-request addressed to the Philippine Consulate General (for Taiwanese visa or other procedure that require renunciation of PH citizenship)
    4. PSA (NSO) authenticated Marriage Certificate, if married
    5. HK SAR Passport (for Taiwanese visa or other procedure that require renunciation of PH citizenship)
  5. Pay the corresponding processing fee HK$400 (HK$200 for notarization of Affidavit of Renunciation + HK$200 for Certification of Renunciation)

Processing period is two (2) working days.
