The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines-Permanent Committee on International Eucharistic Congress (CBCP-PCIEC), in partnership with the Cebu Local Committee on IEC 2016 and the Committee on Promotions and Publicity, will hold the 51st International Eucharistic Congress (IEC) on 24-32 January 2016 in Cebu, Philippines.
Around 15,000 foreign and local delegates are expected to attend the event.
This is the second time that the Philippines would host the IEC. Manila was the venue of the 33rd IEC which was held in 1937.
