The Department of Foreign Affairs, together with the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT), lauds the Philippines for its seventh continuous year of Tier 1 Status in the United States’ Trafficking in Persons Report. The grant of Tier 1 status in the 2022 Report is a recognition of the Philippine government’s appreciable and notable progress in combatting human trafficking.
