Hong Kong, 15 March 2023 – Consul General and current Dean of ASEAN Raly L. Tejada hosted the Monthly ASEAN Consuls General Luncheon at the Aberdeen Marina Club on 14 March 2023. The Consuls General welcomed Mr. Eric CHAN Kwok-ki, Chief Secretary for Administration of Hong Kong, as the guest of honor.
In his speech, Consul General Tejada highlighted ASEAN solidarity and thanked Chief Secretary Chan for his commitment to further strengthen cooperation and close ties between Hong Kong and ASEAN countries.
The Chief Secretary also thanked ASEAN Consuls General for their contribution in making Hong Kong a vibrant and prosperous place. He also conveyed Hong Kong’s desire to join the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) while pledging to further enhance collaboration in the areas of trade, investments, and tourism.
