The Consulate General of the Philippines in Hong Kong joins the nation in the celebration of the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) this September.
This year’s theme, “Kapuluan, Kabuluhan, Kaunlaran (Archipelago, Significance, and Development)” reflects the profound significance of our nation’s maritime identity as an archipelagic nation.
To resonate this, the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines adopts the sub-theme “Setting Sails Towards Sustainability: Ocean Science for Archipelagic Philippines” to “underscore our commitment to evidence and science-based policies that fortify our aspirations for clean, safe and secure oceans, including our thrust for a rules-based international order."
