22 January 2024 - Philippine Consul General Germinia V. Aguilar-Usudan graced the maiden induction ceremony of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Alumni Association Hong Kong and led the oath taking ceremony of its founding officers last 19 January 2024.

 

During her keynote speech, Consul General Aguilar-Usuduan commended the newly inducted officers for accepting the challenge of connecting and leveraging the Thomasian community in Hong Kong. She encouraged the newly inducted officers to serve Kababayans the UST way, following the Thomasian core values of competence, compassion and commitment.

 

UST is the Philippines’ largest Catholic university with a current student populace of over 43,000 students. The university is one of the oldest in Asia in its over 400 years of establishment.
