24 January 2024, Hong Kong – Philippine Consul General Germinia V. Aguilar-Usudan attended the 17th Asian Financial Forum (AFF) held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) last 24 to 25 January 2024.

The Asian Financial Forum, co-organized by the Hong Kong Government and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), is Asia's premier platform that provides global financial and business leaders with opportunities to explore potential collaborations. The AFF 2024 was successfully concluded with over 3,600 financial and business leaders from more than 50 countries and regions and more than 700 onsite matching sessions.

Included in the lineup of AFF 2024 exhibitors is the Philippine company GoodTech Information Systems Inc. (GoodTech), in partnership with Digital Pilipinas, the largest private sector led movement to tech up the Philippines. The GoodTech is a financial technology provider focused on financial inclusion for millions of underserved communities in the Philippines. Since its establishment in 2019, the GoodTech has garnered recognition from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas as an operator of payment system.
