Hong Kong, 18 March 2024 – The team from Megaworld Hotels and Resorts (MHR) paid a courtesy call on the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong, and was met by Vice Consul Allan G. Revote, on 14 March 2024.

The MHR team were participants to the Hotel Investment Conference Asia Pacific 2024 held from 13 to 14 March 2024 at the Regent Hotel, Kowloon, Hong Kong. MHR Team is composed of Mr. Josef Victor Chiongbian, General Manager of Savoy Hotel Mactan; Ms. Gigi Gaw, Area Director for Sales and Marketing of Kingsford Hotel Manila and Hotel Lucky Chinatown; and Ms. Jenny Ho, Director of Sales and Marketing of AsianKeys for Hong Kong and Taiwan.

During the call, the officials discussed potential partnerships between the Consulate and Megaworld Hotels and Resorts, as part of the Consulate’s economic diplomacy program to promote Philippine businesses and brands alongside Philippine tourism in Hong Kong.

As the Philippines’ largest operator of hotels in the country, MHR team introduced its twelve (12) Filipino homegrown hotels in operation and eight (8) properties that are soon to open in key townships across the country. These include the Richmonde Hotels, Belmont Hotels, Savoy Hotels, Twin Lakes Hotel Tagaytay, Hotel Lucky Chinatown, Kingsford Hotel Manila, Grand Westside Hotel, and Chancellor Hotel Boracay Newcoast.
