Hong Kong, 28 January 2024 - Consul General Germinia V. Aguilar-Usudan welcomed eight ( 8 ) aspiring college freshmen taking the University of Santo Tomas Entrance Test (USTET) at the PCG Conference Room and offered her well wishes. She was joined by the representatives from the UST Office of Admissions, headed by Director Emelda A. Dakis.

The USTET is the first college entrance exam conducted by the University of Santo Tomas in Hong Kong. The Consulate hosted the conduct of the exam within its premises to support the educational needs of Filipino students based in Hong Kong, promote Philippine education and provide other nationalities with alternative educational opportunities.

UST also participated in the recently concluded Education and Careers Expo (ECE) held on 25-28 January 2024 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. The annual event serves as a one-stop platform that provides the latest information on education, training and career development.
