HONG KONG, 21 April 2024 — Four (4) exhibitors from the Philippines showcased beautiful and unique modern and handmade crafts at the Hong Kong Home InStyle Fair 2024 held from 20 to 23 April 2024 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Fair was organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).
Philippine companies “Art Meets Craft” and “La Bonne Vie Enterprise” exhibited under the Manila Fame booth sponsored by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) and Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Hong Kong (PTIC-HK). “La Bonne Vie” with its General Manager Ms. Geraldyn “Dina” Bonnevie-Savellano showcased handloom weaves from the Ilocos Region, while “Art Meets Craft” with its President Mr. Mark Santos presented colorful and unique high-end decors made from fiber-resin.
Meanwhile, HKTDC expo regulars “Conway Designs Inc.” and “Sunwood Global Export Corporation” showcased their beautiful handcrafted goods, household decors, accent pieces made from Capiz shells, and acacia woodenware respectively.
The Philippine Consul General to Hong Kong Ms. Germinia V. Aguilar-Usudan and Mr. Allan G. Revote of the Consulate’s Economic Section visited the Philippine booths to show support and appreciation for the latter’s participation.
The Fair was also an avenue for CITEM to advertise its very own Manila FAME which will be held from 17 to 19 October 2024 at World Trade Center, Pasay City. Manila FAME is the Philippines’ premier trade show which supports and showcases quality home, fashion and lifestyle products created by MSMEs and artisan communities in the Philippines.
The Hong Kong Home InStyle Fair, previously known as the Hong Kong Houseware Fair, offers the public a diverse selection of unique and aesthetic home products, ranging from traditional handicrafts to decorative pieces showing intricately cut designs. This year’s Fair also marks its integration with the Hong Kong International Home Textiles and Furnishings Fair. The Hong Kong Home InStyle Fair was held simultaneously with HKTDC’s Fashion InStyle.
