HONG KONG, 3 April 2024 – Hong Kong's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Commissioner Nicholas Ho made a courtesy call on Consul General Germinia V. Aguilar Usudan on 3 April 2024. Commissioner Ho provided an overview of his office's role and duty as the main policy office for cross-cutting programs of the Hong Kong Government, as it relates to the BRI of the People's Republic of China. Commissioner Ho and Consul General Aguilar-Usudan discussed possible collaborations between the Office of the BRI Commissioner and the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong, focusing on low-hanging fruits or areas which are immediately beneficial to both Hong Kong, China and to the Philippines.

Vice Consul Allan Revote, head of the Consulate's Economic Section, and Vice Consul Roberto Mabalot, Jr., Commercial Attaché of the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Hong Kong (PTIC-HK), joined the Consul General in the said meeting.
