Hong Kong, 21 May 2024 – Consul Sheila Monedero-Arnesto and Vice Consul Allan Revote met with Ms. Gloria Slethaug and Mr. Kenny Kwan, General Manager for Marketing and Sales and Agency Sales Manager, respectively, of Greater Bay Airlines (GB Airlines) last Monday, 20 May 2024, to discuss potential collaboration to promote two-way tourism between the Philippines and Hong Kong.

The GB Airlines was established in 2020. It launched its first passenger flight from Hong Kong to Bangkok in July 2022 and has licenses to fly to 104 destinations. It currently operates scheduled services to seven (7) destinations in the Asia Pacific: Manila, Bangkok, Osaka, Seoul, Singapore, Taipei, and Tokyo.

The GBA currently operates five (5) flights a week between Hong Kong and Manila. The GBA’s Hong Kong to Manila flight departs conveniently at 11:50 P.M., allowing professionals and businessmen to catch the flight after a full day’s work. Its Manila to Hong Kong flight, which departs at 3:05 A.M., is the first flight to arrive from Manila, allowing tourists to make the most of their Hong Kong vacation.
