The Consulate General of the Philippines in Hong Kong joins the nation in the celebration of the Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) this September.
MANA Mo aims to:
- Increase awareness and appreciation for the Philippines’ maritime and archipelagic nature;
- Develop a sense of unity and pride in preserving our maritime heritage; and
- Encourage all Filipinos to work together for a sustainable and secure ocean economy.
This year’s theme, “Pamana ng Karagatan: Para sa Kinabukasan, ating Ingatan,” highlights the valuable resources offered by our maritime and archipelagic nation, which Filipinos are responsible for protecting, preserving, and enriching for the benefit of present and future generations.
