The Consulate General of the Philippines in Hong Kong and the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS) joins the nation in celebrating the Development Policy Research Month (DPRM) 2024.
By virtue of the Malacañang Proclamation 247 dated 2 September 2022, the declaration of the month of September every year as DPRM aims to highlight the critical role of policy research in the socioeconomic advancement of the Philippines and the PIDS as the lead coordinator and convenor of the annual celebration.
This September 2024, PIDS celebrates the 22nd Development Policy Research Month (DPRM) with the theme “Securing a Future for All by Growing a Resilient Middle Class.” The PIDS prepared various activities during the DPRM to highlight the opportunities and challenges in expanding the Filipino middle class in the face of emerging global megatrends that will accelerate growth or further widen disparities.
Everyone is invited to attend the following DPRM events:
- 10th Annual Public Policy Conference (APPC) on 19 September 2024; and
- 10th Mindanao Policy Research Forum (MPRF) - schedule to be confirmed.
