Hong Kong, 23 March 2025 — The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) brought seventeen (17) media and film production companies to participate in the 29th Hong Kong International Film and TV Market (FILMART) held last 17 to 20 March 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
These participating films are: ABS-CBN Corporation; ADCC Film Production; Arcade Film Production, Inc.; CIGNAL TV, Inc.; Digital Dreams International (DDi); Go Asia Entertainment/ Cable BOSS; Higante Media Inc.; Kapitana Entertainment Media; POCKET MEDIA PRODUCTIONS INC.; Quantum Films; Rebecca Chuansu Film Production; Regal Entertainment, Inc.; Rein Entertainment Productions; RR Entertainment Production; Spikehead Media; The IdeaFirst Company; and WAF Studios.
The Philippine Pavilion at the FILMART showcased a broad spectrum of films, television series, and multimedia projects that feature Filipino culture, creativity, and artistic innovation. This enabled a high foot traffic of internationally renowned producers, distributors, investors, and professionals at FDCP’s booth. GMA Entertainment and Viva Communications, Inc., both renowned for their extensive work in media and content distribution, talent management, TV and film productions, also stood out in their dedicated booths that presented their current portfolio to international buyers, partners and collaborators.
The FILMART, organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, gathered over 760 exhibitors from 34 countries and regions, demonstrating remarkable scale. The event, aimed to foster global connections in film, television, and digital media, is part of a roster of nine (9) separate mega-events for Hong Kong’s Entertainment Expo 2025, which also includes the Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF), Hong Kong Film Awards, Asian Film Awards, Digital Entertainment Summit, EntertainmentPulse, Hong Kong-Asia Film Financing Forum (HAF), Microfilm Production Support Scheme (Music) and Hong Kong Film Music Fiesta.
