HONG KONG, 3 December 2017 - The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong SAR staged the 34th Concert in the Park at the Hong Kong Cultural Center Piazza C, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong SAR.

The annual concert was organized in cooperation with the Hong Kong Musicians Union (HKMU) and the Hong Kong Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD).

Concert in the Park 2017 was participated in by 10 bands, mostly made up of Filipino talents, and was attended by approximately 3,000 people - Hong Kong locals and expatriates alike.

The audience was treated to a show filled with musical entertainment and funny antics by the show’s hosts Michael Vincent Benares and Jun “Tita Kerry” Paragas of the Hong Kong-based radio show Pinoy Tayo Saan Man on Metroplus 1044 AM.

Concert in the Park is one of the Consulate’s longstanding events in furtherance of the Philippines-Hong Kong Memorandum on Cultural Cooperation signed on 4 February 2003.
