To promote PH as study destination for international students, the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong SAR organized the participation of three of the country’s top universities at the Education and Careers Expo (ECE) 2018 on 1-4 February 2018 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Consul General Antonio A. Morales, invited as one of the guests of honor at the Opening Ceremony of the expo organized by Hong Kong Trade and Development Council (HKTDC) on 1 February, welcomed the participation of Ateneo De Manila University (ADMU), De La Salle University (DLSU), and University of the Philippines (UP).

The ECE 2018 is a valuable platform for students and job seekers to connect with a wide range of institutions and employers, and to get the best advice on education and employment opportunities.

A record-breaking number of 110,000 visitors gathered at the Expo with 860 exhibitors from the educational institutions, professional associations, government departments, public organizations and private enterprises from close to 22 countries and regions.

The three universities actively promoted their various academic programs and held seminars on pre-requisites of admission; documentary requirements, timeline for applications, subjects to study and other concerns in studying in PH. They conducted an education talk at the Consulate for OFWs on educational opportunities for them and their children back home.
