A total of 779 Filipino community members joined the record-breaking CPR Marathon 2018 organized by The University of Hong Kong's Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine-Emergency Medicine Unit on 3-4 February 2018.

Of the total, 600 OFWs were members of the Domestic Workers Empowerment Project (DWEP) led by its President and Founder, Philippine-born Dr. Michael Manio. The event was held at the Fire and Ambulance Services Academy in Tseung Kwan O.

A total of 3,027 CPR attempts were conducted during the CPR Marathon, breaking the previous Guinness Book of World Records title of 2,619 made in India.
