Eight Philippine companies were among the 3,908 exhibitors from 35 countries and cities from all over the world participating in the Hong Kong Gifts and Premium Fair on 27-30 April 2018, which is themed this year as the “Hall of Fine Designs and World Gift Ideas”.

The exhibit categories that attracted Filipino participation were Art & DIY Gifts, Christmas Lighting, Figurines & Decorations, Fine Porcelain Gifts, Green Gifts, Pictures & Photo Frames, Stationery & Paper, Toys & Sporting Goods, Travel Souvenirs, Trophies & Medals, among others.

The Philippine exhibitors were Balex Boxes of Pangil, Laguna; Ecolineas Export of Cebu; Décor Plus SQG Enterprise of Pasig City; Dekofraft, Inc. of Pasig City; Fae Décor Crafts of Las Piñas; Freeriders International Corp, Inc. of Mandaue City, Cebu; Nautilus Shell Export Int’l. Inc. of Mandaue City, Cebu; and Rodima Marketing Corporation of Legazpi City, Albay.

Deputy Consul General Roderico C. Atienza, accompanied by Attachés Luz M. Iglesias and Charlene A. Beriana, visited the booths and encouraged all eight exhibitors from the Philippines.

Most of them had been joining the international exhibits and fairs for over 10 years and they promised to join a similar fair in October 2018 in Hong Kong where all PH exhibitors with their products will be displayed in one large space like a “Philippine Pavilion”.
