PH, Iran Consul Generals discuss Trade, Business in HK
Iran’s Consul General Mr. Mehdi Fakheri welcomes Consul General Antonio A. Morales on 15 March 2018. They discussed various topics particularly on trade and investments. Mr. Fakheri estimates there are 30-40 Iranian companies engaged in engineering and construction business in Hong Kong. Iran’s biggest sector and export is oil and natural gas. Iran is also engaged in car manufacturing industry, such as Nissan, Mazda, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen which produces 150,000 cars a year, with Mr Fakheri noting that the tariff in cars in Hong Kong is cheaper than other countries.
