Dr. Shirley Mo Ching Yeung, Associate Vice President of Hong Kong-based association, which falls under the jurisdiction of China’s UNESCO office in Beijing, proposed a number of projects that may benefit Filipinos and meet the Philippines’ SDG targets, such as tertiary education, including possible scholarships, at the private Gratia Christian College in Hong Kong.

Dr. Yeung, who is an associate professor at Gratia Christian College, also offered executive education on corporate social responsibility (CSR); and training programs on gender equality.

During the call, Consul General Morales underlined the Philippines’ commitment to meet its SDG targets, especially on poverty eradication, providing quality education and economic growth.

Consul General Morales welcomed Dr. Yeung’s proposals, and looked forward to collaborating with Dr. Yeung and UNESCO Hong Kong Association on implementing SDG-related programs, particularly for the 226,000-strong Filipinos in Hong Kong.
