Consul General Antonio A. Morales participated as inducting officer at the formal ceremony to swear in the new officers of the Association of Filipino Builders HK, a group of Filipino engineers, architects and other professionals in the Territory, led by its new chairman, Mr. Briccio Chico.

The event, held at The Port in Lan Kwai Fong, was concurrently organized by the Filipino organization of Freemasons, the Square and Compass HK.

Aside from the Association of Filipino Builders HK’s induction ceremony, Square and Compass HK also organized a “Drink-for-a-Cause” event to support various socio-civic projects in the Philippines and in Hong Kong.

Consul General Morales thanked both organizations for their support for the Philippine Consulate General’s activities and programs, especially in implementing capacity building initiatives for Filipinos in Hong Kong.
