Consul General Antonio A. Morales hosted his counterparts for the monthly ASEAN Dinner on 21 August 2018 at the Madame Fu Grand Café Chinois located at the newly-opened Tai Kwun heritage site, the former Central Police Station compound, in Hong Kong’s Central District.

At the start of the dinner get-together, Consul General Morales extended his appreciation to his ASEAN counterparts for their strong partnership and cooperation, especially on matters regarding assistance to their respective nationals in Hong Kong, trade relations with the city, and other issues of mutual interest.

The event was also an opportunity for the ASEAN consuls general to exchange best practices and updates on various concerns, particularly on possible ASEAN-related activities in Hong Kong this year.

The get-together was Consul General Morales’ inaugural ASEAN dinner hosting. Also present were the spouses of the consuls general of Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

ASEAN consuls general thanked Consul General Morales for his hospitality and for the excellent dinner arrangements.

To promote the best of the Philippines, boxes of Philippine dried mangoes dipped in chocolate were given to the ASEAN consuls general as souvenirs.
