Consul General Morales highlighted that Hong Kong has always had close historical and trade relations with the Philippines, and in addition, given the number of Filipinos in Hong Kong which currently number around 230,000, the Philippine Consulate General looks forward to partnering with HSUHK to promote Filipino language and culture in Hong Kong, through the university.

The Roundtable Meeting was followed by a campus tour and luncheon hosted by HSUHK President, Professor Simon S.M. Ho.
