Consul General Raly L. Tejada met with Filipino Community leaders at the Hong Kong PCG Conference Room to kickstart the distribution of Cu Masks (CuMask+) from the Hong Kong Government to the Filipino Community.
The CuMask+ was developed by the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel (HKRITA) and meets the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) F2100 Level 1 standard. It is made of six layers of specially made materials with small quantities of copper and is effective against bacteria, viruses, and harmful substances. The mask is effective for daily use up to sixty (60) times.
The Consulate General of the Philippines in Hong Kong thanks the Hong Kong Health Department and the Innovation and Technology Bureau (ITB) for their assistance and support to the Filipino Community in Hong Kong.
