The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong and Sentro Rizal Hong Kong in partnership with WIMLER Foundation, Ltd., and in celebration of the 123rd Anniversary of Philippine Independence Day virtually launch a book entitled “Diaspora Journey: Stories of Philippine Migration to Hong Kong” on Thursday, 17 June 2021 at 4:00 PM through the official Facebook page of the Consulate.

Diaspora Journey is a collection of stories of Filipinos who travelled, worked, and treated Hong Kong as their new home. It is a goldmine of valuable lessons and insights that the contributor picked up along their journey, affirming how far and successful migrants have come.

Consul General Tejada in his remarks congratulated the WIMLER Foundation, and the book’s author for sharing their exceptional talent to the community and for immortalizing the stories of Philippine diaspora to Hong Kong. He thanked the authors for bringing the stories of millions of Filipinos who through the years have migrated to live and work in Hong Kong.
